Mental health is still too often absent from the decisions that shape people's lives.

It is missing from political priorities, funding decisions and conversations about health, development, human rights, climate and inequality.

And the people most affected by those decisions are too often kept outside the rooms where they are made.

United for Global Mental Health exists to change that.

We work where influence happens: with governments, global institutions, funders, advocates, communities and people with lived experience.

We build relationships. We share expertise. We open doors. We convene people who would not otherwise be in the same room. We influence policy and financing. We create campaigns that shift the conversation. And we help people who have historically been excluded become recognised as experts and leaders.

We do not believe change follows a predictable path.

Sometimes it comes through a policy process. Sometimes through a campaign. Sometimes through a coalition. Sometimes through a relationship built over years. Sometimes through an unexpected conversation that opens a door.

Our job is to be ready for those moments.

To see where change is possible.
To bring the right people together.
To break down the barriers.
And to turn influence into action.

That is how we accelerate change in global mental health.
